Targus Laptop Case – A Review

April 14, 2010 – 10:53 am

Targus is the only laptop case brand in the market that is a decent challenger to Samsonite. At the moment, Targus has a best seller in the TXL617 17 XL Notebook backpack. Most cases have a main compartment for file storage, which is always good when you need to carry around all those important documents. Some even has storage for sunglasses and water bottles. Although it is questionable that carrying water in the same bag as a laptop isn’t the greatest idea, it is a pretty nifty idea. Also all Targus laptop cases come with a limited lifetime warranty.

Quite a few of the customer reviews appreciate the huge size of the backpack. I suppose when you’re taking that flight, it would be a good idea to consolidate all your stuff into one bag. The numerous compartments also help to segment the various laptop accessories that invariably come with the laptop, including the power adapter and USB mouse. A Targus laptop case does not have to be used to carry a laptop, you could also use it to carry books for school, for example.

Some customers mentioned that it could be smaller as it seemed quite bulky on their backs. Smaller framed users could also find it awkward as it might keep sliding off their shoulders, although it is perfectly understandable. However,  all in all, everyone who had bought the Targus laptop case, even while griping about the little things, agreed that it was still a fantastic bag, and nothing is better than getting the seal of approval from your fellow customers.
