Materials and manufacture appear top quality. Separate zipped pouch for transformer etc not ideal as my widescreen 15.4″ display laptop, means the pouch has to be crammed into the front pocket, not the main body of the bag.

Having bought a Wenger Saturn bag for my new laptop (17″) I was so impressed with it, I bought this one for my husband’s IBM Thinkpad. This really is the business, plenty of padding to protect your laptop, and plenty of well thought out space for documents, peripherals etc. If you had a bulky laptop you might struggle to make use of the otherwise very handy removeable accessories pouch, which is ideal for cables, main feed etc. Overall well worth the money. Plenty of room, looks nice, sturdy and well cushioned. What more could you ask for?

ps. I have quite an old and thick 15.4", which it still fits perfectly. Will fit new slimmer ones perfectly.

I have just bought one of these and it is excellent and I would recommend it to anyone. I have an IBM Thinkpad T60p and it is an excellent fit in the middle cushioned section. It has the following :-

Front section
-------------
2 netting pouches for mice cables etc - these have no zips (but should have when chucking it around a plane overhead bin stuff comes out)

Detachable key fob
1 velcro shut pouch
1 open pouch
1 small pouch (for a Swiss knife), I use for USB sticks, with even smaller pouch on front, velcro shut
4 more open pouches (much slimmer fit than others)
1 full width zipped divider for storage

With all these populated in my bag there is still room in the front section for other stuff like notepads, etc

Middle section
==============
1 cushion padded divider with velcro retaining strap for laptop
1 full width open divider
Plenty of space between these for other stuff such as clothes etc when travelling

Back Section
============
2 open fully accessible file/folder style dividers.

Rear
====
Rear has one zipped pouch and velcro-able strap for attachment to my wheeled overnight bag.

Top
===
1 small zipped compartment for passport tickets etc (although the zip sometimes catches the cushioned material which is annoying)

General
=======
Very sturdy zips all with swiss logo
Rubber feet on bottom so it will stand upright on its own which is really good.
Carrying strap with extremely comfortable middle band.
Very light, with comfortable handle, so coupled with my Thinkpad which is also light its possible to walk for miles which I have had to do.

Bad Points (Slightly annoying)
==============================
No front external pockets for easy access to say a book, PDA etc when travelling.
Top passport zipper sticking because of trapped material at crucial travelling moments.
Too many unzipped pouches, stuff falls out if chucked about. (But let's face it if was really annoying me I could add a velcro fastener myself at this price.)

Good points
===========
Great price.
Light weight.
Great storage.
Looks good too.

I don't write reviews but have been so impressed with this bag whilst recently travelling that I am using some waiting time to write this. If you need a good looking bag with plenty of practical storage look no further, buy this. Rating: 5 / 5

This is a fantastic buy. It is perfect for 15.4″ wide screen laptops. Very good quality and very durable material and solid construction. You just know that it’s going to last… Lots of good sized storage areas and professional design. I have bought Targus products before, but this is a better buy. Great value for money.

When this arrived, I was initially disappointed by the size of the parcel. I was expecting something a bit smaller. However, when I opened the parcel, and saw it, I was immediately struck by the quality feel and look of this product.

The strap and handle are ergonomic and feel really comfortable, as if some sort of gel was used in them. The flap cover is magnetic and troublefree to open and close. When you open it, there is a cleverly designed cutout for the handle, and the linings to everything look hardwearing. Inside the front side area are 9 compartments, including those designed for your mobile, usb stick, identity details and keys. The other side is zipped and has a newspaper / file compartment.

The main compartment for your laptop and leads is 2 sectioned to keep laptop separate from leads/ plug, and there is ample room for some other things you may need for your trip. It is a zipped closure and the zips are metal and sturdy.

This case is 15cm x 36cm x 43cm which is less than the maximum allowed in the cabin on a plane, and so will function as one piece luggage on the plane to fit your laptop, leads and enough of your personal /travel items to get you through a 2 day trip. The alternative would be to use a flight case and you would place your laptop within your flight case, but a flight case probably would be heavier. This case weighs only 1.65kg.

This case would assist the business person in journeying to meetings via other modes of transport, as it can simply be slung over the shoulder, making for swifter transit. It could be used by anyone who takes their laptop to and from home to place of work, and looks profesional and would enable items to be found easilty due to the abundance of compartments.

This bag is a quality product that I am certain will come in handy for the laptop using traveller.
